Arena Full of Ghosts is the tenth of twelve tracks to be released in 2024. Many of these releases will feature unique collaborations and will later be compiled on a wider full-length streaming release in 2025.
The roots of this song came from a comment seen on social media a few years ago. A pop-star was announcing a big tour right after the Pandemic had completely paused the industry. At the time thousands werer dying everyday, some ticket buyers were maybe cautious, so one of the comments was “where will she be playing an arena full of ghosts?”
I tucked that phrase away, and when the time came constructed a track and collaboration around it.
I offered the track to a great Athens, Georgia friend and artist DJ Wombat, formerly known as Donny Knottsville, formerly known as Rorshach, etc… I decribed the inspiration and the overall concept of a large event for the undead. DJ Wombat worked with Athens audio expert Joel Hatstat to record his vocals and add some extra spooky textures.
Once the overall vibe was established it became apparent this would have to be my October release.
