Dan Roth
Dan Roth is a seasoned graphic designer based in Athens, Georgia, and the owner of Athens Creative Design, LLC. With 25 years in Athens, Dan has developed notable work for businesses of all sizes. His projects include interpretive history signs for civic organizations and governments throughout the southeast, with installations in many public spaces in Athens-Clarke County, such as the Oconee River Greenway, Lyndon House Arts Center, Athens Welcome Center, Ben Epps Airport, and the Multimodal Transportation Center.
Before founding his company in 2014, Dan served as a Media Specialist at The University of Georgia and as Creative Director at The Red & Black Publishing Company. He holds a BFA from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Dan moved to Atlanta in the early 1990s, joining many northerners seeking sunshine and warmth lasting longer than 4 months a year.
In addition to his design career, Dan has been a professional touring musician since 1999, playing guitar and keyboard in several acts. He currently leads The Great Grand Finale, a 9-piece event band from Atlanta, where he has been an original member for the past three years. Most Saturdays, you can find him traveling across the south in a 15-passenger van, setting up, performing, tearing down a 3-hour stage production, and traveling back home in the same 24 hours.
