2020. What a mess. The history books will show it was a year we were all put to the test in one way or another. I lost my job in the music business, and could have easily spent the year sulking about that. Instead I coped with daily uncertainty by creating and re-releasing a massive trove of music spanning 25 years. This was an opportunity to record ideas that had been on the backburner forever (Count Ribula, Race Ape) and execute completely new ground (Mad Stabercrombies Show, Star Chaser). All of this while experimenting with a lot of open source recording tools like Audacity and Drumbit. Time was a gift, staying home was a great way to stay alive, and the creative fires were at peak flame.
