TaylorEDTime.com on a variety of screens from iPhone, to iPad and iMac

TaylorEDTime.com website

TaylorEDtime.com is an eCommerce site devised by entertaining educator Andrew Taylor. I worked to translate Andrew’s ideas into a digital platform for him to sell a series of children’s and self-help books in addition to custom stickers, buttons, shirts, and more. Stabercrombie Design handled the creation of a website and some light graphic designing as well as integrating with other promotional tools like Cafepress and MailChimp.

It was apparent there would need to be a combination of methods needed to help Andrew sell these items. His 12 books are being published by GracePoint Publishing and Amazon print-on-demand. So, those could easily just be outgoing links to those marketplace pages. Most of the remaining items ended upon Cafepress.

I designed 2 bumper stickers, created a typographical layout for 4 positivity paragraphs to appear on bags, magnets, drinkware, and T-shirts, and worked with a fellow designer to produce 26 positivity pin slogans for each letter of the alphabet. Finally, 2 coffee mug designs all of which are here at CafePress.

I created a basic framework for Andrew’s content in WordPress while we awaited the cover illustrations. Once those were available the site background and bookstore sections were quickly completed in time for its 4/2/2022 soft launch. Both Andrew and I have a fondness for the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, so anytime 42 could be a solution we went for it!

In the months since the soft launch, I have reworked the Ninja contact forms with prettier CSS styling, and once again saw amazing performance results with the WP Rocket plugin. A MailChimp newsletter is also in the works and is already integrated with the WordPress site.

Andrew currently has 4 books on Amazon. He is a treasure of positivity and a real pleasure to collaborate with. I look forward to continuing to help him build his world of TaylorEDTime products in the years ahead!
