These pieces were composed as exercises during a series of bass lessons with Joe Lally. Joe offered encouragement and compositional strategies on the title cut. He also helped build confidence in creating a series of songs that could be performed alone on the bass. These are tracks were recorded in one take with no editing, effects, or overdubs.
